Thanks to a major donor and 33 other contributors, I am pleased to announce the overwhelming success of our campaign to fund the repair of the Heavy Machine Shop at the Thomas Edison National Historical Park.
Our goal was to raise $10,000 to match funds anticipated from a Centennial Grant from the National Park Service. We have raised nearly $12,000.
Not knowing how quickly we could meet our goal, we previously applied for the FY2016 round of grants. Although we must wait for the outcome of our grant request, we are certain to be able to complete the Line Shaft repairs.
With a full and grateful heart, I thank those who have contributed to this effort.
