Why doesn't the Friends of Thomas Edison NHP have a permanent office ?

The term frugality comes to mind.  We wish to devote as much of our budget and financial resources in support of the more important, imminent task at hand, the restoration of Edison Labs and on-going maintenance of the Glenmont (Edison home) property.

Is PayPal safe, why accept PayPal?

We believe PayPal is very safe. Nobody at Friends of Thomas Edison or National Historic Park sees your credit card information. The secure transaction is between you and PayPal, who forwards the money electronically to the FoENHS account. You will receive a confirming e-mail from PayPal. If you are familiar with buying on eBay, PayPal works pretty much the same way.
